It's not much of a reading wrap-up this week, but it's better than nothing.
Two new ebooks acquired this week - a romantic comedy (which I already read) and a mystery. I still have two romances, a mystery, and a thriller left from earlier in the month.
Books Read:
77) A Match Made for Thanksgiving by Jackie Lau (11/27/20) - Romantic Comedy* - 4 stars. New to me but not underappreciated. Free off the Book Doggy newsletter.
Review: "Cute romance. A little step into a different culture for me, which was fun. A bit too spicy for my tastes, but that's me."

11/27/20 - I gave up on Le Morte d'Arhur.
Currently reading... a suspense I picked up at the thrift store by an author I've been meaning to try. I didn't make much progress yesterday due to the Band of Brothers marathon.

It was an okay week for me, with 4 books read/listened to. I'm at 185 books of my GR challenge, 4 books ahead.
ReplyDelete185 - Savaged Devotions (Savaged Illusions Trilogy #3), Jennifer Lyon, 5 stars. A fav author. This book had me in tears after the first chapter. I'm preaching to the choir (B.E.) but LOVED this final chapter in Justice and Liza's lives. Totally underappreciated! Romance readers need to grab all three and marathon read them!
184 - Archangel's Sun (Guild Hunter #3), Nalini Singh, another fav author and series, totally appreciated by many. 5 stars. New release. Loved it. Still a lot going on, action-wise, but the pace and stakes weren't quite so frantic and the couple in this book's relationship was a treat to watch evolve.
183 - Archangel's War (Guild Hunter #12), Nalini Singh, what I said above. 5 stars. Relisten as it had been a year and I'd only listened to this one once and the new addtion released. Gut-wrenching action and emotion with no time to catch a breath.
182 - The Enforcer (Fire's Edge #3), Abigail Owen. 3 stars. No longer new-to-me, not underappreciated. By this book, the plot hooks were getting a bit tired. Still, liked the characters. If the spin-off series become available in Hoople (listen for free), I might see if things change.
Currently listening to Amanda Quick's THE GIRL WHO KNEW TOO MUCH, a historical romance with maybe a touch of the paranormal. Quick is one of Jayne Ann Krentz's alter egos.
