Saturday Reading Wrap-up - 06/25/22

Not much to talk about this week, but I didn't want to leave you in the lurch.  Since this was the week I started working outside the house full time, I didn't get much time to read.  I took my Kindle with me on Thursday so I could read during my lunch, but I forgot to download the books I'd bought last week, so nope.  I did start a book on Friday, though.  Yay.

No Books Read.

No DNFs.

Currently reading... the third book in a southern mystery series I've enjoyed.  I'm definitely going to do some reading this weekend, so look for a more interesting post next week.

What did you read this past week?

  1. I finished 3 books this week. I'm at 82 books toward my challenge, which puts me 11 books ahead. Crazy since it wasn't too long ago that I was 9 books behind. Still doing the marathon re-listen to the Singh Psy-Changling series. It's got a LOT of books in it. I finished up KISS OF SNOW (#10) last Saturday. Since then, I've added:

    82 - Shield of Winter (#13) - 5 stars. Makes me teary-eyed every time. There's a dog named Rabbit.

81 - Heart of Obsidian (#12) - 5 stars, a big fav in the series. The really bad dude finally finds (and recovers) his "one."

80 - Tangle of Need (#11) - 4 stars, sort of a diversion to secondary characters who had a good story.

Currently listening to SHARDS OF HOPE (#14). I have about 6 hours left so probably won't finish until tomorrow, then it'll be on to the next in the series. I may stop when I hit the end of the first cycle because there's a new book coming out in 31 days, the next in the follow-on cycle of Psy-Changling Trinity.

Happy reading this weekend and glad the job is still going well.
