I'm going in late today, but I'm running late anyway. And I forgot it was Thursday. Derp.
Well, the moms both got and opened their Christmas gifts. They're both happy with them. Yay. I found these neat mugs on Etsy with states on them. Each mug has two states - the one we're in and the one they're in - connected with flowers and filigree stuff. Very pretty. So they're there and we're here, but we're still connected. :sniffle:
And the cards I sent out should be arriving at their locations. I know one of my nephews in Michigan got his. Yay.
Yesterday, on my way home, I saw one of my neighbor's dogs running down the road. I stopped and yelled her name and told her to get home. She turned and headed right for their front porch. Good girl!
I was out smoking the other day and heard eagles. When I looked up, there were three of them circling. Awesome.
And that's all I've got for today. Mostly because I need to get ready for work, but partly because I don't lead that interesting of a life anymore. LOL

Pretty awesome thats on this Thursday, even if you are running late. And yes, got the card. We'll see if I get cards out this year.
ReplyDeleteIcanhavegaragedoors? Why, yes, yes I can have that. Plural. LG did a massive job of clearing out stuff, taking many loads to our favorite charity thrift store for donation. The doors are better insulated and lighter, but weird. They lock on the inside, with no handles or way to unlock from the outside. Good thing one of the garage door openers still works.
This just in...It's cold. I don't like it. Gonna be colder next week. Will like that even less.
That I have my final list made is a minor miracle. I think it's made anyway. To finish up the Christmas shopping. I have directions. I have aisle numbers. Jake and I will hit it tomorrow.
I know there's other this and thats and bits and bobs and jetsam and flotsam from this week but I've only had 4 cups of coffee at this point (just after 11 a.m.) and the brain cells still aren't firing on all cylinders. I blame the cold. And Boone. Loki gets the zoomies. Boone gets the Mad Cow wanders-around-in-aimless-circles. Ah well.
I've delayed long enough. This dang book ain't gonna fix that oopsies. Later, tater.

One very cute Christmas card arrived, showing a gnome. I love it! Mom collects gnomes, so I got her a couple for Christmas.
Cleo has the zoomies, too. And the "gonna get into everything, tied down or not" 's. Little brat. But she's down to 11 lbs, so the food situation isn't quite as desperate. (She doesn't agree.)
My blog reader has been fainting regularly, which means I'm blog-reading irregularly. I hope to be back again tomorrow!
