Five Inches?

I woke this morning to five inches of wet, heavy snow.  Needless to say, I'll be spending the morning digging out.  Maybe I'll take pics and post them later.  Right now, I'm too cold and tired from Round One of Snow Battle '09.

BTW, it's perfect snowman snow.  I just wish I had the energy I had when I was seven.

How's the weather where you're at?

ETA: Pictures!

  1. No snow here, but then, that's not much of a surprise, is it?

  2. You poor woman! Ever since I got snowed in for a week without electricity, even a inch of snow gives me the willies. One good thing about Texas is that it rarely snows.

  3. oh. My. GOD.

Just looking at those pictures makes me want to cry. We don't ever see that kind of snow in Louisville, Kentucky until Decemember or January, but I am dreading the winter, the digging out... noooo, I'm not ready for it.

  4. Wow! Snow!

I live in the PNW and we're getting rain, more rain, and then some rain on the side.

We had to purchase new rainboots for everyone in the family because we'd all worn ours out last season.

Still... it's not snow. Snow closes everything down.

  5. -snickering in evil glee-

I'm not alone in freezing my butt off now! LOL!

    Ahem.

Sorry. For the out burst. Not for the snow. LOL! I'm not sure I'll ever feel sorry for other people having snow.

I think you should make a snowman though. Even if he's tiny!

  7. You can have some of mine, Kristen. ;o)

For me, it's just a pain, Deb. After growing up in Michigan, five inches really isn't drastic. Sorry about your being snowed in though. That would stink.

I'll send some anti-snow thoughts your way, Amber.

And some anti-rain for you, Wendy.

Misery loves company, Natalie. But you'll always have more snow than me, so there. =op
