Facebook sucks. It's telling me I'm spam again, despite not doing anything spammy. I always follow group rules, and I only post once every 24-48 hours on any given group. Turds. Can't dispute it either. Gah. Anyway...
Coffee is sometimes the only thing keeping me from going whacko-bananas.
I made chili the other day, but I forgot to buy canned tomatoes, so it was just beans and burger (with seasonings, of course). Then I got the idea to add the leftover pulled pork to the pot. YUM! I don't know if I'll ever have leftover pork when I'm doing chili again, so I'm not sure if I'll do it again, but if I do, I will.
Chester Chipmunk is now living in a hole under the big oak tree. 'Bout time he found that hole. It's been there for years.
I was doing a pretty good job of being active before Hubs went on vacation and while he was gone, but since he's been back, I've been a toad. I really need to get off my ever-widening ass and get back to work.
Halloween is fast approaching. We don't really do anything for Halloween since the Owl went off and we moved to somewhere there aren't a lot of kids. The one thing I do is watch scary shit. Not really scary-scary, but scarier than usual. For instance, I'll watch The Frighteners, which is the least scary scary movie ever. I've also been watching episodes of Creepshow (the newer ones with the lame CGI Crypt Keeper). They're okay. I did see one with Adrienne Barbeau the other night, which was cool and reminds me I should see if I can find the original version of The Fog. The newer version is lame, but that one is pretty good.
We finally got some fall weather, but it's not supposed to last. Back in the 80s again. Derp. Cooler temps make me want to go in the woods. Which reminds me... Hubs was looking out into the woods and saw where another tree must've fallen over. He pointed it out to me and yep, there's a trunk laying across where there wasn't one before. We can't really investigate it yet because ticks and snakes. Come on cooler weather!
And that's it for me. What's up with you?
