It's the last wrap-up of the year. Sorry it is more exciting.
No new books this week.
Books Read:
I didn't finish any books this week.
DNFs:
12/21/24 - cozy mystery old paperback - no, not the same one I had on the DNF list last week. I DNF'd that one early in the day and this one late in the day. I wanted to like it, but sadly, I couldn't make it past the first few pages. Bleh and meh and a little derp.
Currently reading... I've been reading CHILD STAR - the autobiography of Shirley Temple Black. It's not a fast read, but it is an interesting one. I expect this book to carry me through into next year.
What's been on your reading list for this past week?
I am currently at 99 books on my 100-book challenge. The book I'll finish today will meet my goal but with 3 days left, I'll up the total as I go along. I'll probably end up with 101 or 102 books, about half of my normal reads in a year but this was an unusual year.
ReplyDeleteI'm on the last book of my Ilona Andrews Innkeeper Chronicles series, dramatized adaptation editions. I've really enjoyed most of the Graphic Audion adaptations that I've listened to. Once I finish SWEEP WITH ME, not sure what will catch my attention next. I'm in the mood for comfort reads which means not too exciting new stuff. LOL
I did add 4 hardcover books from Christmas--the 4 most recent releases in the JD Robb In Death/Eve Dallas series. I have the entire series in print--all hardcover but the first like 10(?) because they were only released in paperback. I also have the majority of them on Kindle and all of them on audio. Yeah, it's much chicken soup series. What can I say?
Happy reading and revising this week! Later, tater.
