Oops. I totally forgot to post this earlier. Sorry about that. Anyway, at least it's still Saturday. And to think, this was a week when I actually have more stuff to talk about than usual. Derp.
I only got one new ebook this week and I've already read it - Seal Moon. On the other hand, being late today, I get to tell you that I bought some hardcopy books today at the thrift store. First time this year. Yep, I'm as shocked about that as you are. I picked up 3 fantasy novels (Hogfather, Eragon, and Eldest) and one I thought was SF but turns out to be a compilation of Robert Heinlein's letters - Grumbles from the Grave. :shrug: Should still be interesting from a writer standpoint.

53) Seal Moon by Silver James (9/30/22) - Paranormal Romantic Suspense*- 5 stars. Not new to me, but recently re-released because the author got her rights back. She had to remove traces of stuff because it was formerly part of a 'Kindle Worlds' series not her own, and she added some more stuff to make it extra yummy. Yay. Paid full price: $2.99
Review: I just wrote it and I forgot to copy before submitting, so now I have to wait for Amazon to approve it. Derp.
52) No One's Safe by CJ Grayson (9/28/22) - Suspense*3 - 5 stars. Not new to me, but underappreciated. Paid full price $1.19

ARGH! I was almost ready to hit publish and somehow, I blanked out everything. 🤦🏼♀️ Okay, brief recap. Sorry I missed this yesterday. We left for soccer and didn't get home until mid-afternoon and it was football time. I didn't check my blog roll--or email. LOL Glad you found books. Heinlein was an interesting guy so I bet his letters are too. I read ERAGON back when it first released. The author was only 15 or 16 but he did a heckava job worldbuilding and storytelling. Hope you enjoy it. Also, many MANY thanks for buying, reading, and reviewing. Reviews are especially appreciated. I'm at 122 books on the year (out of 150), which is 10 ahead, and I'm still in my Jayne Castle marathon. They're all SciFi/ParaRom, 5 stars, and from a fave author. Here's a list of the titles with a brief bit of info. Quick note: Jayne has several series that are interconnected, written by all three of her personas--Jayne Anne Krentz, Amanda Quick, and Jayne Castle. You don't really have to have read the historical or contemporary to understand the futuristic, or any one series to get the gist of any other series. She does a good job of layering in that info without it bogging down the narrative.

"Rainbow" reader antiques dealer and "burned out" federal agent turned small island sheriff with lots of crime stuff.
121 - Midnight Crystal (Dreamlight Trilogy, #3; Arcane Society, #9; Ghost Hunters/Harmony, #7) History repeats itself. Hero may be losing control over psychic powers, dreamlight reader (and PI) convinces him it's all right. Lots of crime stuff going on.
120 - Obsidian Prey (Ghost Hunters/Harmony #6 - Romeo and Juliet. Also, a dust bunny that paints. Fun times, lots of crime stuff going on.
119 - Dark Light (Ghost Hunters/Harmony, #5) - New Hunter Guild Boss and tabloid reporter. Marriage of conenience, LOTS of crime stuff going on and Elvis is in the building. (This is a fave in the series)
118 - Silver Master (Ghost Hunters/Harmony, #4) - PI on the trail of an alien artifact, scandal-plagued matchmaker, really bad guys, and...drum roll...dust bunnies and lots of crime stuff!
I should mention that for the most part, Jayne always incorporates suspense and crime into her novels. Just another wonderful layer to each story for the reader's enjoyment. I'm currently about 1/3 of the way through the next installment, THE LOST NIGHT. Happy reading, y'all!
