The .22 ammo ...I want to go live in Fransworld. :)

The .22 ammo shortages are regular and generally panic-driven; we had a big one here back in 2009 when it seemed like everyone was freaking out and stockpiling. Rumors spread, gun show sellers gouge, the shops crank up the prices and keep the surplus in their back rooms, which then makes everyone freak out and buy, lather, rinse, repeat. It's always worth buying ammo at the right price if you see it, but don't fall for the b.s. the authorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03220786472896283714noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6076293789081887442.post-69879444230200968822016-02-05T13:38:47.765-06:002016-02-05T13:38:47.765-06:00I'm feeling fairly freaked about the election ...I'm feeling fairly freaked about the election being a lose-lose for everyone, and I'm not really a conspiracy theorist :) It's just that kind of election this time (well, a lot of the times, but definitely this time). No clue about ammo, hadn't heard that. We'll just keep writing and ignore the world! Hope you have a good weekend!alexiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07122487552931794871noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6076293789081887442.post-23117110788731102132016-02-05T10:23:51.547-06:002016-02-05T10:23:51.547-06:00The "it's like being impregnanted by Sata...The "it's like being impregnanted by Satan' comment made my laugh out loud, thanks for that! And so freaking true, unfortunately :(

Man, every time we go into WM we check for .22 and the last time we were there they had a bunch. But you're right, a lot of the times there's none or only like a small box. And, around here there's a restriction of two boxes per checkout which is really annoying :Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6076293789081887442.post-55710860814930922032016-02-04T13:12:47.468-06:002016-02-04T13:12:47.468-06:00well...there are head skulls and then there are HE...well...there are head skulls and then there are HEAD skulls. Just sayin'... ;)

I had Stormageddon yesterday, pink eye, croup, and all. I woke up this morning and realized I hadn't set up a blog for today. Oh well.

Did I ever tell you about the army days when our favorite restaurant was known to be a hotspot for Cold War Russian contact of military officers? Yeah. We talked in code and spoke into condiment containers, the foliage, and checked under tables and chairs for bugs. Conspiracy? Damn straight there is! *hums the X-Files theme*Silver Jameshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15606837105470988646noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6076293789081887442.post-51395850740402276622016-02-04T10:09:18.359-06:002016-02-04T10:09:18.359-06:00I enjoyed a good giggle about head skulls, which I...I enjoyed a good giggle about head skulls, which I needed after a day at work. It's 4pm and I finish at 5.30pm so I'm getting itchy to go home.

As for politics, yours or ours, I hate the lot. I'd like to start my own little world where everyone works hard, plays at what they enjoy, treats everyone else with respect and toleration, and no food is fattening. I'd call it Fransworld and my seat of office would be in a town hall that consists of a book shop / café / sewing & knitting shop. I'd spend my official ruler of the world hours in the café drinking coffee and eating those non-fattening cinnamon rolls or muffins or crumpets and dealing with the issues of the day. Then I'd pop into the book store to pick up the latest offering by my fav authors, before popping over to browse the lovely fabrics and yarns. Oh dear lord I'm getting carried away now ....Fran Khttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11079042659459259795noreply@blogger.com
